School Experience 
Adam has no formal art training. He attended Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon and received a BA in History.   

Work Experience
1997-2000 Studio Assistant for Bruce F. West.  Public arts projects included:

  • "Untitled" courtyard sculpture for the Hillsboro Oregon Public Sculpture Garden shared with sculptors Frank Boyden, Mel Katz, Michihiro Kosuge, and Keith Jellum.
  •  "Untitled" sculpture for the Kent School in Kent, Washington.
  •  "Water, water, water" sculpture for the Lake Oswego Fire Department, Lake Oswego, Oregon.
  •  "The Cross" sculpture for Benedictine Sisters Convent, Mount Angel, Oregon.
  •  "Untitled" Sculpture for the Ohio Department of Transportation Headquarters, Ohio.

From 2001 to present Adam has been working solo from Portland, Maine. He has completed a multitude of private and corporate commissions and has been shown in numerous exhibitions.  

Notable Projects

  • Adam designed and fabricated the 100 Ford Motor Corporation’s Partners in Quality Award Sculpture. Awarded as an individual and original sculpture to Ford’s top one hundred dealerships in North America by Ford Credit. 2003’s award sculptures were presented by Former President George H.W. Bush in 2004.
  • Adam worked collaboratively with the art and design staff at Thomas Moser Furniture. His works were featured in their catalogs and sold in their showrooms from 2005-2007.
  • Adam’s sculptures were used in a worldwide advertising campaign for the Blackberry Corporation in 2008.
